Nike x Stone Island Windrunner
Nike and Stone Island combine forces, making the Windrunner Jacket. Nike created this apparel design in 1978 and its revolutionary for its26-degree chevron yoke and raglan sleeves. Athletes used to wear this piece at track and field trials before and after competition. This silhouette has been a fixture on medal stands and city streets ever since it was first introduced, worn by everyone from distance runners to breakdancing b-boys. Nike’s Windrunner experiences another first, the fabric innovation, engineering and garment dyeing techniques of no one else other than Stone Island. Both famous identification logos making their stamp on the jacket, the Nike logo on the chest and the Stone Island patch on the left arm.
